Our apartments are beneath the beautiful Lake Constance. But not only the “Swabian Sea” decoys with its magnificence but also Steißlingen and its surroundings. The village has its own lake which invites to (sun)bathing and relaxing.
There are also many culinary attractions by the many classy restaurants and bars – and if you want to cook something for yourself you can find the next supermarket 2 minutes away by foot and the next bakery and butchery isn’t far away either. Not least Steisslingen’s golf course should be mentioned which is ranked among the largest and best ones in the region.
Thanks to the location in middle of the Hegau area, a volcanic-shaped landscape, there are countless of well-known and also secret points of interest which can comfortably be reached by foot, bike, bus, or car.
The region is also decent for walking tours because it offers something for every taste. Forest tracks, far-off meadows, and hills with colossal outlooks allow countless interesting trips – no matter at which season!
You can also experience many cultural highlights: For example Konstanz, the largest city at Lake Constance, is accessible in less than half an hour by car and offers a rich broadband of possibilities: points of interest like the Konstanz Council, the cathedral, the famous Imperia statue, cultural entertainment by the theatre, the many orchestras, the Archeological State Museum (ALM) and many many more.
The many shopping opportunities nearby shouldn’t remain unmentioned either. For example the shopping city Singen is only some minutes away by car or bus, the LAGO shopping mall in Konstanz is well-known at a supraregional level and the closeness to the Swiss border caps it all.
